Holiday Vacay at Boracay Day 1

Boracay! It was a very long trip for us coz' we actually came all the way from CDO. We travel By air, land and water :)

Our 1st trip:  Arrived at Iloilo around 4pm then we decided to stay , and we will just catch the first bus going to Caticlan.

Our Second Trip : Iloilo to Caticlan. Ceres Liner buses can take you to Caticlan (fare: PhP325.00 – more or less) with travel time of around 6 hours with at least two stop-overs (snacks comfort breaks in usually not-so-orderly toilets).Recommends aircon buses for such long trips, Ceres Liner earliest trip from Iloilo to Caticlan is at 630am. Ceres Liner bus station in Iloilo is in Tanza district.

Our 3rd Trip : We arrived at Caticlan at 12 noon or 1pm...  Lolo and Lola's  are excited for Zyan. Last time they held Zyan was more than a year ago.. and they missed him a lot :)

finally  here at Caticlan Port, and zyan gave some coins for those who sang Christmas carol :)

Zyan's 2nd Birthday Party

I can't believe I'm saying that already. How can my little boy a 2 years old already?

Well, It was a beautiful day and a fun party! Last Aug. 24, 2011 we celebrated Zyan's 2nd birthday by having a shindig at our place. We decided to have a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme party since Zyan loves Mickey Mouse.



So, we decorated the house in all sorts of  Mickey mouse balloons, Bantings and other party supplies.

 

 These are zyan's candy for prices and "biba" where children love to catch the candy when thrown to them.

Here's his Mickey Mouse clubhouse cake and mickey cupcake too. He liked having "Happy Birthday" sung to him and he liked blowing out his candle. It was very cute.

Z's First Summer Swimming :)

It is summertime again! This is the first time that my baby will go on a summer outing. It is really fun to enjoy the heat of summer with your family. I love outings! This is a great chance to have family bonding, an opportunity for my baby for social development. He loves splashing water at home and I am happy to saw him having fun in a real swimming pool.

Important things to remember
1. Never leave your child unattended. In the case of my son, he likes the water very much that whenever I pull him out of the water, he keeps coming back to the pool by himself. Also, they might accidentally slide on the slippery side of the pool.
2. To prevent him from drinking water (that is with chlorine), I avoid the part of the pool where the others usually jump and play.
3. As much as possible, since I did not apply him with sunblock, I don’t let him swim within 11am to 3pm. Otherwise, we go to the area with good shade to avoid direct sunlight.
